What we offer
The two Investor Visa routes
Ariete Capital operates two qualifying investment routes under Italy’s Investor Visa framework. Both are structured to lead with the underlying investment, with residency as a secondary outcome.
Why Italy Now
Italy is drawing a different kind of capital than it did five years ago. Three shifts are converging.
The Italian flat-tax regime, nicknamed svuota Londra (“empties London”) in the Italian press, has pulled non-domiciled wealth out of the UK since the April 2025 non-dom changes. Paired with the Investor Visa, it works less like a residency application and more like a wealth-structuring plan.
Italy’s 2025 restrictions to jure sanguinis citizenship narrowed the ancestry route for millions of heritage-diaspora families, particularly across North America. Families who once treated ancestry as their default path to Italian residency now look at the Investor Visa instead.
There’s a third shift that gets less coverage. Italy is becoming the structural European alternative for investors moving away from US exposure. The country’s operating businesses have outlasted multiple economic cycles. Anglo private equity rarely can say the same.
One frame runs under all three. Italy is being approached as an investment destination first. Residency comes after.
